Emerald Caregiving, LLC is a women-owned business founded by three determined, passionate caregivers in hopes of providing honest, quality care to seniors in the Bay Area. Esmeralda, Diana, and Maria used their years of experience and knowledge in the field to create a compassionate and caring company.
Our services are backed by more than 35+ years of experience in elderly care.
Our services range from the most common care needs to taking our clients to the DMV to get their new ID’s and driver’s license, changing their car oil, home maintenance services, down-sizing, organizing and house cleaning. Senior care has always been a part of Maria’s life.
Maria's mother was a caregiver and grew up in senior home care facilities since she was 5 years old.
She landed a server job when she was 16 at a senior retirement community in Pinole, CA.
Maria’s passion for the field led her to study business management at San Francisco State University. She took care of an elderly couple in Napa, CA for 4 years while she got her degree.
After graduating, Maria decided to advance her career and start Emerald Caregiving, LLC with her sister and friend who shared the same vision.

Esmeralda has been specializing in senior care for over 20+ years. She first started working for a company whom she later realized over charged and took advantage of their seniors. Esmeralda decided to part ways since she always thought of herself as an extended part of the family, ensuring that her clients received honest, quality care. Through her compassion and care, she was able to help her hospice client surpass her life expectancy by over 5 years. Esmeralda felt her previous employer did not share the same value and decided to start Emerald Caregiving, LLC with her business partners who shared the same goals.
